Interstate Appliance went above and beyond to meet my needs. My Sub Zero fridge stopped working the morning before I was leaving for 9 days. Rachel took my call and within an hour told me a service tech would come out THAT day! Rod phoned me within a couple of hours to say he was on his way. He was extremely professional and personable. Rod is excellent at his job and has over 25 years of experience and is a very skilled and clear communicator. I trusted him right away and within 20 min, he diagnosed 2 possible problems, patiently explained them in ways I could understand. It turned out the easy, less expensive fix worked! I REALLY appreciate the staff at Interstate who saw I was in a tight spot, then went the extra mile to take care of me right away. Interstate is my new go to for appliance repair.

In a matter of days, IAS was able to schedule an appointment & repair our Kenmore/LG refrigerator. Professional, courteous, & skilled. Rod knew how to determine the problem & fix it. He was able to explain the steps along the way & had it done in a couple of hours. We highly recommend IAS.

We bought a washer and dryer from Rod and really appreciated the thorough background he gave us on the appliances regarding care, installation, etc. When we told him we were also planning to buy a new refrigerator, he also gave us some extremely useful information on selecting a refrigerator so that we would hopefully avoid repairs in the future. Rod and his crew are the best. They were referred by another appliance company for their ability to do “specialized jobs.” We have an old all-in-one kitchenette – ya know, the kind where there’s a small fridge on the right; and a stove / oven combo on the left. Rod knew precisely what to do to fix the power problem to the latter. He’s transparent, courtesy and, most importantly, doesn’t waste your time. He gets right to solving the problem. Highly, highly recommended for your appliance repair and resource guy.

Our four year old Samsung refrigerator dropped cooling temp to 50 degrees. The freezer was still holding at 0 degrees. We live in Brookings OR (on the coast). On describing the symptoms, Rod new immediately what was wrong and described it in plain english. He briefed me on how to prepare the refer for service. I scheduled the service with Rebecca later in the week. She was courteous, friendly, and thorough. She took extra time to check some details about the required service with Rod. I needed help “like yesterday” and when I called, they were most eager to assist… My wife is pregnant, and doing laundry is something that actually gives her good therapy in her everyday life… Scott arrived at my place this afternoon with more then a can-do attitude, and sure enough he fixed my dryer (practically with one arm behind his back,and blindfolded) and put everything back together in the laundry room like he was never there…I highly advise using them if any needs arrise with ANYONE reading this…
